Indiana DNR's Lake Michigan Coastal Program Coastal Advisory Board (CAB) is scheduled to meet at 10 a.m. on August 19, 2015. The meeting includes presentations from Dr. Chandramouli Viswanathan and Dr. Agbai (George) Nnanna on their Coastal Grant Funded projects. Additional agenda items may include Small Grant project review and approval.
After the formal meeting, the Lake Michigan Coastal Program and the Board are hosting a field trip to Coastal Grant funded project sites. The field trip commences at noon and is scheduled to end at 4:30 p.m. The program has chartered a motor coach to tour western project sites in Lake and Porter Counties. Local sponsors and experts will be on hand to discuss the projects.
Given the timing of the meeting and the subsequent afternoon field trip, the program has arranged box lunch options for attendees. Lunches will be ordered in advance.
Attendees may choose to purchase a box lunch or bring their own. The lunch includes three sandwich options – turkey, roast beef, and roasted vegetables. Cost is $6.90. They will be ready for pick up immediately after the meeting at the Purdue University Calumet cafe.
Please register group members separately.
